Courtyard House : Studio 0.10

Designed for a new resort development about 1 hour outside Beijing. The house is a reinterpretation of the Chinese traditional village courtyard house. Programs ring a centralized social space made as an intergral part of the living experience by an all glazed wall. The breaks in the form sets up the approach and entry sequence to the house from the front and also extending out to a deck with swimming pool in the back.
